On July 12, 2007 after many years of service Keena passed on. She was 17 years old and was still coming into work until her very last days. Although she was tired and moving a bit slower she still loved coming to The Bookshop. Keena had grown rather deaf, but her other faculties remained intact, enough so to always show an enthusiasm that belied her years. Until the end she showed an unending patience for children and always retained hope she would be treated to another biscuit. She will without a doubt be missed. She is best remembered in her festive holiday sweater.
	Shortbread - 30 Sweet and Savory Recipes Jann Johnson - Illustrated by Beth Adams This time around Keena has changed her focus from the grill to the oven. Even though shortbread can be fussy to prepare at times, Keena feels the results are well worth it - particularly when cooking recipes from this volume.
	The Murder of Bob Crane Robert Graysmith This subject has been an endless fascination of Keena's, an interest that was only heightened by the release of the fairly recent film. This book has the kind of details that the film was lacking - which Keena ultimately found more informative.
